With 1 billion people on Facebook and 3 billion people with internet access, a world of new possibilities opens to those who dare to create global businesses. With all this, it is hard not to be an optimist and not want to work with startups from all over the world and help them expand to new frontiers.
WHAT WE ARE DOING
Startup Exchange Program is a mentor driven exchange program designed to scale-up startups. We select the most resourceful, creative, and disruptive startups to move to an European tech hub for 4 to 6 weeks supported by a local incubator/co-working space.
WHY IT’S VALUABLE FOR OUR COMPANIES
Over the course of the program, the startups we are working with will have the chance to…
explore a local economy where companies will take their technology to market and bridge connections with corporations, startups, venture capitalists, and serial entrepreneurs;
bring 2-3 core members of their founding team for the entirety of the program;
be mentored by 8 world-class serial entrepreneurs and innovators;
get access to free working space in top-tier incubators and co-working spaces;
get support with everything from logistics to visa.
HOW IT WORKS
For Startups:
We will select 20 for-profit, technology based companies looking to expand into new markets. Aside from being fueled by a drive to succeed in very competitive environments, the startup must have a full-time team of at least 4 people, have completed a prototype or pilot, be able to prove that they have meaningfully engaged with their customers, and be highly-scalable. Lastly we will only work with companies who can convince us that they are ready to scale internationally.
For Incubators/Co-working spaces:
We are teaming up with 8 incubators/co-working spaces that will host and support 2 startups for a period of 4 to 6 weeks. The host provides free working space, access to the local startup ecosystem and potential partners, and supports the startups in any way possible.The Startup Exchange Program team will take care of promoting the program, process the applications and select the 20 startups.
